Hi guys! Hope you're all doing great and that you kick-started your week on a good note 😄 I'm sorry I have been a bit MIA these last couple of days but I participated in this year Student Fest which is a performance with acting, dancing and singing organized by the University of Malta and I had daily rehearsals and obviously couldn't handle everything all at one go. But now I'm back 😄 I started brainstorming for ideas for the summer time and possible collaborations. I want to hear from you so if you have any suggestions on what you'd like to see on the blog or different topics or bloggers that you'd like me to collaborate with or specific requests you can do so here. I created this google form so that all the ideas will remain anonymous for those of you who are shy on commenting on our social media!
For today's post I will be reviewing the Blinc Amplified Mascara and Eyeliner. A couple of weeks ago I got invited to an event at Roseberry with regards to the launch of this brand. It was a well organized event and I also got to meet a couple of my blogger friends 💖
About the Brand
Blinc is an American company which focuses only on eye makeup. They are innovative in their products; in fact they created the world's first tube-forming mascara and peelable eyeliner. Blinc promises smudge-proof, run-proof and flake-proof cosmetics. You can purchase any of their products at Sephora but for my fellow Maltese friends you can purchase all of their products from Roseberry.
Blinc's Mascara Amplified provides glamourous, buildable volume and length while forming water-resistant ''tubes'' around your lashes. However, you do have to be quick because once the mascara dries there is no point applying more layers! This mascara cannot run, smudge, clump or flake. It is clinically tested and it is perfect for people with sensitive eyes or for those who wear contacts. All it takes to remove the mascara is the combination of warm water and gentle pressure.
Blinc's eyeliner is the world's first peelable eyeliner. It is not like a cosmetic paint that will leave traces of the product when you remove it and therefore it cannot fade, smudge, run or flake even if you cry or rub your eyes. When you remove the product, the layer of eyeliner will slide off your skin into your hand.
I tried out both of these products for a performance I had for Student Fest and I absolutely loved them. I love how the mascara makes your lashes look super full and long. The eyeliner is also a really good product because it is deep black (which I love when it comes to eyeliners). Both products stayed on all night! The only thing I didn't like about the eyeliner is that it comes in the form of a brush rather than a pen and since I'm not a pro at making the perfect liner I found it a bit more challenging with the brush.
And that is it for today! Huge thanks goes to Nataliya from Roseberry as well as Paloma Cosmetics Ltd for inviting us to this event.
