Travel Series #2-Switzerland-Part 2

It's time for Part 2 of the Travel Series. As you may have read in Part 1 of the series I will be talking about a couple of places I visited in Switzerland. 

Before I get into today's post I'd like to invite you to help us out! But without further ado let's get into tonight's post. On my third day visiting my cousin in Switzerland she showed me around the area near Lake Neuchâtel. This lake is the largest one in Switzerland and it is truly magical. I still cannot understand why but I always feel on cloud nine whenever I see such beautiful scenery.

It is the perfect spot for an afternoon stroll or an early morning one! We didn't have much time here as we only planned to spend the morning here but if you were to have a whole day here you can also take a trip from Neuchâtel to Yverdon-les-Bains at the western end of the lake which takes two and a half hours.

The villages that surround this lake can be clearly seen as you stroll past them. You'll find a lot of boat services especially during the summer months. Some of these boats also have an on-board restaurant so you can enjoy the stunning view whilst eating! Some of the boat trips also combine hikes or cycling tours along the shoreline. In some cases, boats can also be transported on boats.  

I highly suggest visiting this place if you've got some time to kill and if you fancy long strolls by lakes.
